The 4-module course has a unique content structure that will enable you to get a thorough grasp of good nutrition in children and learn about the difference between macro-nutrients and micro-nutrients. This course is a distinctive blend of research and clinical practice tips to enhance and expand clinician’s knowledge in child nutritional consideration and importance of adequate nutrition management of normal and the high-risk infants.
Child nutrition is greater than mere feeding. There is a need for a holistic approach in terms of nutritional requirements in children. In view of addressing the evolving issue of nutritional aspects of growing children, to discuss various issues and concerns, there is a need of the course that aims to solve such issues which distinguish what child is eating and what micro and macronutrients are lacking in the daily diet. This course aims to discuss the nature and scope of developing nutrition for children according to their backgrounds and needs.
Dr. Nimain Mohanty is a Professor Emeritus Paediatrics, MGM Institute Of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai. He has undergone advanced courses at AIIMS, PGIMER, NCCD, NIHM, IIT-Bombay. He has approximately 60 Publications to his credit. He was a Former Editor in Chief, CPF Med Bull, New Ind Jl Ped; PG teacher, MD/Ph.D. guide, Member Academic Council, BoS, BoE, CoE MGMIHS . He was also Former DIG (MED) & Chief Consultant Paediatrics, Central Para Military Forces Recipient of Meritorious Service Medal from the President of India and was awarded 5 special duty medals, 2 commendation discs from CRPF (MHA).
Dr. Asok Kumar Datta is a Professor of Pediatrics at West Bengal University of Health Sciences and the Ex-Head of Department of Pediatrics at Burdwan Medical College, Burdwan, West Bengal.
Dr. Vijay N. Kamale is the Head of Department of Pediatrics at Medical MGM College, Navi Mumbai. He is also the Editor of NIJP, Journal OF PAI and the Organizing Chairperson at NUTRICON 2019.
Dr S. Manazir Ali is the Professor & Director of Pediatric & Neonatology department, JNMCH AMU Aligarh. He is the Senior Person having an experience of more than 3 decades. His areas of interest are Neonatology, intensive care, Nutrition, and HIV Medicine Pediatrics & Adults. He has published 96 papers in reputed National and International Journals.
Dr Vibhor Borkar is a gastroenterologist with over 14 years of experience. He’s one of the first professionals in India to get a DM in Pediatric Gastroenterology. He’s highly skilled and is proficient in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, pancreatic disorders, and clinical nutrition. He has been instrumental in optimising many children for liver transplant surgeries and offered ICU care to them. Dr. Borkar has published papers in various indexed journals and also presented research work and oral lectures at various national and international conferences.
Dr. Anoop Verma is a consulting pediatrician at Swapnil Institute of Child Health Raipure, CG. His areas of interest include neurology and clinical genetics. He is the editor-in-chief of IAP Textbook of Pediatric Neurology 1st and 2nd Edition, Editor of IAP Textbook of Pediatric Radiology, and the author of Spotters in Paediatrics, Pediatric Secrets. He has won the Doctor of the Year award by National IMA 2015.
Dr. A. Riyaz is a pediatric gastroenterologist. He is the professor and head of pediatrics at KMCT Medical college in Calicut. He has a PG teaching experience of 35 years, UG and PG examiner in various universities and has published a total of 40 articles. He has published a textbook on Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology and contributed several chapters to text books.
Dr. Santosh Kondekar is a consultant paediatrician at Bhatia Hospital, Tardeo, Clinic for Epilepsy EEG PFT Asthma Neurology Autism LD Cerebral Palsy Special Clinic at Byculla West, Shushrusha Hospital, Dadar and Aakaar clinic, Byculla West. He is also the associate professor at TN Medical college and BYLN charitable hospital Mumbai. Dr. Santosh has 18+ years of experience and specializes in managing children's physical, behavioural, and mental care from birth until age 18. He is also trained to diagnose and treat a broad range of childhood illnesses, from minor health problems to serious diseases.
